It goes without saying that all EU Community design applications are filed with us exclusively by a lawyer. This ensures that the entire application procedure is conducted swiftly and without errors. Instead of having to register a national design in each individual EU member state, which would also be possible, only one design application procedure is required to register a Community design (EU design). The Community design (EU design) is not a bundle of national designs of the individual EU member states, but a single design that is valid in the entire territory of the EU for the benefit of the registered owner. The statutory basis for design protection of the holder of the Community design (EU design) is the Community Design Regulation (CDR).<\/p><h2>Guarantee for our clients: We will file your EU designs with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on your behalf within 24 hours after we receive the fees for filing your EU designs from you<\/h2><p>We explicitly guarantee our clients that we will always file the respective EU design application within 24 hours after we have received the application fees in our account. A lawyer will personally take care of your EU design application, who will also personally file it with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). This guarantees an error-free and expeditious filing in accordance with EUIPO standards. By the way, the EUIPO is also quite fast. Provided that the EUIPO has no objections to the registration of your Community design (EU design), it is usually entered in the EUIPO register within 1 to 3 days of filing.<\/p><h2>We always file EU design applications for our clients electronically using the FastTrack procedure at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)<\/h2><p>We recommend to our clients that we file their Community designs (EU designs) with the EUIPO using the FastTrack procedure (accelerated procedure). The FastTrack design application procedure is the fastest way to obtain registration of your Community design (EU design) at the EUIPO. An essential condition for using the FastTrack procedure is that we, as your legal representatives, classify your EU design into the correct classes and subclasses according to the Locarno Classification. The terms from the Locarno Classification have already been accepted in advance by the EUIPO. Our attorneys will ensure that your Community design (EU design) complies with the requirements of the FastTrack procedure and therefore a speedy EU design registration can take place.<\/p><h2>Design documents in PDF format for registered EU designs<\/h2><p>The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) sends the design certificate as a PDF document to us after registration of the Community design (EU design). We then forward this PDF document together with the cover letter from the EUIPO directly to you by e-mail.
