Intellectual property cases and commercial litigation in 2017

About half of my clients come from outside of Germany and need legal representation before German courts or before the German Patent and Trademark Office. In the year 2017, I represented altogether 72 clients from outside of Germany before German courts or before the German Patent and Trademark Office. In some of these cases, several million Euros were at stake.

Most of these court appearances happened before the special chambers of the German trademark courts and the special chambers of the German copyright courts. Often, I had also represented you before the Chambers of Commerce within the German courts, in particular when you had contractual disputes with your trade partners.

A number of other cases dealt with your unfair competition claims against unfair competitors on the German market. Also, in quite a number of these cases, several million Euros were at stake.

I want to say “Thank you!” to all of my clients. Some of you I have met in Germany in person, with the others I had regular phone calls or video conferences. All the contact with you enriched my understanding of your legal goals. Intellectual property cases and copyright cases are indeed never boring. Winning them for you is pure joy.
